I had an Amazon Fresh Online offer for 10% back up to $14, one time use only, that ended 10/31. I used it mid last week for an order that totaled $112.74 excluding the tip - I was expecting to receive $11.27 credit. To my great luck, for some stupid reason they split the charge for the actual order and I got billed on the same exact date $101.25 and $11.49. (The tip was billed separately a few days later and never qualifies for these offers anyways as it expressly posts as Amazon Tip.)

I'm sure you can guess what happens next - Chase system selects the $11.49 transaction as the single transaction to be used for the 10% offer and I get a credit of a measly $1.15. I charged the order to this card vs the Amazon Prime Visa where I get 5% only to get this 10% back and I'm super frustrated by this. I already sent Chase an SM to ask them to fix it but it's really annoying and unfair that they did this and I now need to waste my time and energy to get it fixed. At least if they're going to select one transaction to award the 10% why couldn't it be the $101.25? At least then I wouldn't be this mad. The charges were posted precisely at the same time so they can't say the first one is what counts. This is besides for the fact that I don't get why Amazon Fresh couldn't charge the order excluding tip in one single transaction so that I can correctly get my 10% back on the entire order without any issues .
