Last year my sister, without talking to me booked two weeks using CSR points at the Waldorf Grand Wailea, thinking she was going to re-qualify for Diamond with those 14 nights , returning the day after Christmas, and get a ton of Honors points. She got no benefits for her Diamond Status for the stay, no points, no night credits, and missed out on Diamond Status for 2025 because of it. She wished that she had spoken with me before booking it.

Even Google's AI tells you this, and tells you something similar for Marriott. Go to those forums and read about it as well.
Since you mentioned Amex FHR, Chase Edit is no different than FHR in allowing hotel status benefits.
