I booked a flight 2 days in advance ROC > LHR last year for a family funeral. It was booked in Q class, and the fare was $600ish instead of the $2100 they were asking normally. I had to give them the name of the funeral home and a phone number of the funeral director in england. They told me I would need a copy of the death certificate at checkin for the return flight back to ROC. When I showed up I said 'they told me you would need to see this', she tapped on the computer and said no its ok, there is no record of needing to se anything, you are all set... and I was on my way.

I was impressed with the whole thing. I thought I would have to pay a lot, or try to get a reward seat for the trip and was suprised when they said they could do it for $600. They also said I could take any flight, and routing, any day that week for the same price regardless of the availability. ^
