Never had a fail on EasyJet but probably 1/6 fails on BA.
EZ and FR let you check in well in advance. BA make you wait until T-24 which means it is panic stations when it fails, potentially having to make significant changes to your travel plans to check in at the airport.
To be fair, with the small number of fails on BA (like maybe 3 in several hundred flights) it’s usually something like an issue with API data when flying to the US. EasyJet doesn’t have any US flights so that will never be an issue.
I’ve never had it, and I don’t actually know anyone who’s had it IRL, but there have been a small number of reports of failures due to reservations not having ticketed, which is inexcusable on BA’s part, and no normal person would ever think to check for a ticket number.
1/6 is a shockingly high number of fails.
