Here are my impressions and photos of the Amsterdam Marriott:

Pros:

• Upgraded to an Executive Suite on the 10th floor before arrival
• Bed was comfortable - medium plush mattress (topper), plush pillows, covers could be more plush but were fine with the heat on
• Shower pressure was strong and I loved the side nozzles
• Nice view
• Couch was more comfortable than it looked
• Floor was not as cold as it looked
• Two welcome gifts - ceramic shoes and chocolate followed later by stroopwafel from the turndown attendant
• Ambassadors offered restaurant breakfast - good pancake, good omelet (though, Apollo’s omelet was better) - I did have to remind them to take the charge off at check-out, which they did without a fight

Neutral:

• M Club is not my cup of tea - I wasn’t a fan of the chocolate dessert and it was very busy

Cons:

• Water dispenser in the M Club seemed to emit a foul smell whenever it was used
• No late checkout in suite - they offered to let me move to another room in the morning if I wanted 4 PM - still, I wish they would have offered 1:30 or something…

I would come back here.
