Yes you always have to catch an agent from the airline that bought you to DEL upon deplaning. That agent has to hand you to the next airline at the transfer desk.
Oh right, l have never heard of having to do that before, nor were there any staff at the gate whom would have been willing to do that for me. l’ve just come off another lnt’l flight into Delhi (I’m not connecting today) and there were loads of people transferring onto other flights but no staff to facilitate this.
