To me it's just another example of why I hate BA - more than 50% of my transactions go wrong because of their IT.
You hate BA... Simple stop flying it then, If 50% of your transactions are wrong due to (their) IT may I suggest you have somebody else make booking for you? I can honestly say I can't think of a single error in a booking caused by an IT issue, I have messed up by putting in the wrong dates but that is down to me. Like others I book many of my flights when out of the UK and have never had an issue.
Life is too short to keep flying an airline you hate when there are others available.
