The FR app is infinately better than the BA app and whilst the announcements on board might be slightly irrating, this can be cured by headphones and Spotify.

It just doesn't make any sense to me to spend £400 on a CE ticket to Berlin versus £35 on FR if the whole point of the trip is to just drink beer somewhere different.
