I just checked into the Gateway Canyons resort in Colorado.

Am super disappointed that the $100 credit is only good for spa appointments and activities. Cannot be used for any food or beverage.

The breakfast limit is $30 per person which also strikes me as stingy.EDIT: the breakfast prices were actually quite reasonable and this amount does allow you to eat a full breakfast

But the $100 credit is now worthless to us as we do not enjoy spa treatments and will not sign up for their activities.

How could I have know this ahead of time? I had vague recollection of seeing “spa credit” for some hotels, so seeing “property credit” for this booking gave me some assurance. But clearly that was an error and maybe I was mistaken in the spa credit memory or mixing up credit cards.

Anyways, live and learn but a little salty now
