I attempted to use the service for a one day SFO rental as the cost increase of ~100 justified the time savings on using the tram each way.
The verification software failed multiple times at both the ID and credit card stage. I have low patience for booking issues so decided to cancel within an hour of the booking.
The app wanted to charge a $50 fee which I didn't find during the booking process.
The human who immediately answered the call indicated names have to match 100% for the verification to work. The corporate card doesn't have my full name nor does the Avis profile.
The human cancelled the reservation without penalty. If the software allows more flexibility I would put this back on the option list just to get through to a human immediately since even PC doesn't get me that anymore.
