Another scenario if the damage is above the insured sum of one insurance - would the second insurance cover the rest?
I have even seen some insurance marketing that they would cover specifically the excess of another insurance.
PS - this Plat card makes one calculate if one should use Aktia Visa at 1,6avios/€ or the the Nordea card for 0,5c/€ cashback. Using Nordea would value Avios at 0,3c (3€/1000avios) which is outrageous undervaluation of avios, IMO
it depends on the insurance I have some that are supplementary ones.
Comparing just the aktia earning vs nordea plat is not a apples to apples comparison...
Just for earnings sure the aktia card is better but aktia gives you ONLY points. And onlu 1.6pts/€ for plats
Nordea card gives you cashback, insurance, lounge visits and fast track so for a novice users it may be better...
Also at 5.99€/mo the card could be useful for a pp membership use only too as its 12€/visit effectively with free insurance and fast tracks to boot...
Not advocating for either, but its not a 1:1 comparison IMO
