In all honesty I think it’s a much of a muchness comparing EZY to BA ET if you’re status-less. Plenty of older EZY aircraft out there too and their customer support for when things go wrong is pretty dire (or at least it was when I last flew with them). BA are far from perfect but I suspect if I’d had the 4 hour delay and lost car hire booking through them rather than EZY I’d have at least got a hefty amount of Avios by way of apology. EZY I got nothing. That was three years ago and to date haven’t flown with them since.
