Announcement from SFO yesterday says that Terminal 3 AirTrain will be closing on Nov. 4, as will curbside and drop off lanes between doors 6 and 13. Assuming this means they will be starting on the new land-side facade in the west end of the terminal. Curious if they will be closing the economy check-in behind doors 8-13
The page on SFO’s website is actually very detailed as to what will be open, what will close, and what will probably stay open, but suck.

The check-in on the western end of T3 will close, while the one on the eastern end will remain open. Even with all that said, I don’t know why anybody would try to do check-in or clear security through F at this point. Unless if T2 security gets slammed when the UA check-in counters open there on Monday, it seems like F landside is such a mess that I’d try to avoid it altogether.
