cxLoyalty is able to buy your room night for less from a consolidator than they can directly from the property. Consolidators buy rooms in bulk, and resell them to consumers, and other agencies. I do not know if Chase aspires to have cxLoyalty enter the consolidator market.
I think I know how much CxLoyalty paid for my room on my recent Vegas trip. I paid Chase Travel $1009 total. They did not give me an invoice when I check out, but I was able to get it from MGM's request invoice website entering my reservation number. It shows that they got a credit of $798 at check-in.
