DCA running 90+ minute delays related to staffing (ask your Senator), as a retired ZFW controller, I know that Fort Worth Center (and many others) is on a staffing trigger on a daily basis now, SOCAL has had delays, smaller airports have had unscheduled closing of facilities, AUS and IAH have had issues. On the TSA side, DFW delays are trending up, and on the CBP side, my international flight had a 20 minute hold on the aircraft after the door opened to allow CBP to process more people before the next group arrived...and this included delaying connecting passengers who would go to the LHR-DFW revised security scheme, as they lacked the people to staff it without pulling people off the horribly backup main hall.

As was noted, the 28th was the first $0.00 check, the 14th included about 60-70% of most people's normal checks. TSA is unhappy that most CBP and all HS/ICE agents were getting paid when they weren't...FAA is gonna be worse long-term as the more senior types may well retire and the trainees were already insufficient, and the pipeline got shutdown again.
