Until now.
I just stayed for five nights at the NH Collections Pódium Barcelona on a Long Stay Rate, booking the hotel via the GHA app. I just checked my Titanium dashboard and noticed that my stayed was deemed “Ineligible” for status credits or D$ earnings.
Nowhere on the booking portal did it say anything about D$ or status accumulation not being applied. I eventually found buried in the T&C’s; “GHA reserves the right to amend the list of eligible rates at any given time, without prior notice.”
What would be more honest and upfront would to put a disclaimer under each hotel’s room rate whether GHA Dollars and status apply to the booking. It really isn’t transparent. I booked the Pódium because of the Double Dollars deal, but based on what’s happened here, I think I will be looking elsewhere.
Give it a couple days. Pretty much every one of my stays is marked ineligible initially, and then credit a few days delayed.
As an aside, I'm no longer bothering with NH hotels through GHA. They consistently swerve giving the claimed benefits and the lack of included breakfast is poor.
Other chains have been much more pleasant - Lore Group is a standout so far
