My personal experience with United was when I booked TATL flight originating in the US via Amex Travel (which I believe is the same as using Chase Travel for this purpose) and I was able to rebook myself via United but any residual amount would be forfeited so I made sure to use it all up.
Do I "cancel" for credit via the airline or via Chase?
