I need to change an AP points booking, and the website surprise surprise won't let me. One of the listed elite benefits is:
"Take advantage of front-of-the-line access with our Air Canada, Aeroplan and Air Canada Vacations contact centres."
However, calling in just now there was no recognition of elite status (after entering my AP number, I get stock canned messages that don't apply, e.g., about how much more it was going to cost me to make a change by phone than email), and the system is telling me I will have to wait on hold for more than an hour. Am I doing something wrong? I called the number listed in the app for Aeroplan "Super Elite priority contact".
