I'd find it difficult to imagine they would cutoff airside connectivity, given the situation landside. I had a flight from the E gates a few weeks ago and chose to walk over landside from the Intl terminal (where I always choose to get dropped off due to traffic in the loop) just to see what it was like, and I won't be doing that again anytime soon if I can avoid it.
