Yes, for the Icon you just need a bank account in Spain with any bank (if you use Santander, a separate product is the Plan Santander Iberia, which you can attach to any Santander credit card and is very good for the 4 € monthly fee). If you are a new customer, there is a welcome bonus that would justify the fee by itself.

This year, such bonuses have counted for Elite Points too at the 1:10 ratio, which is something to consider (at least they did for me, as shown in the first post of this thread, I don't know if they've closed that loophole).

The main benefit of both the Icon credit card and the Plan Santander Iberia is that you get a 10 % discount on IB flights (for one-way or simple return itineraries).
