If you are forced into old CW you could always try and grab a ‘middle suite’. These have two exit options l, two IFEs (great for maps). Bags of storage as well as two pillows.

out of interest. Does anyone know if theoretical seating blocks the aisle or the inner seat?
Had this once solo and it was ace. Can imagine it is great for
milehigh action travelling as a couple. Would be a bit uncomfortable though to get upgraded and find a stranger sitting/sleeping/snoring next to you.
