Is it possible to book a hotel in a BAH for only part of a trip on the BA web site or do you have to call and place the booking manually?

I assume there are no implications for the award of TPs and that you will get the equivalent TPs on spend (divided by number of passengers) if you make your own plans for part of a BAH.
