These days, does ORC update lifetime miles? I had a connecting itin SAN-LAX-IAD that went sideways due to ATC and WX (roughly 9.5 hour delay at SAN) and managed to find a GA who was able to put me on the previous day's delayed redeye nonstop (which was so delayed it got me home only 2 hours later than my original connecting itin).

It's not exactly a ton more lifetime credit--a bit over 500 miles, IIRC, for the extra segment plus differential between LAX-IAD and SAN-IAD--but I'll still request it if there's any point.

Already sent the GA kudos because I was pretty surprised she could (1) switch me to the prior day's flight, which in the past the computer wouldn't allow; (2) was able to switch even with checked bags (which the Club CSR said he couldn't do); (3) juggled seats on both my delayed itin and the nonstop in case the nonstop got further delayed or canceled.
