Happy Friday from the drizzle in canary wharf. We're now fully in the 6 weeks of crazy in the corporate world. People checked their yearly objectives after the summer break and realised they'd forgotten something so now everything is urgent. IT deliveries need to be arbitrated. Quote of the week: "your lack of time management skills doesn't make it my emergency".

No travels for a couple of weeks until another trip under the sea to the continent. I see in the news that Virgin Trains has won the one spot Eurostar might sublet at their Temple Mills maintenance facility (although Eurostar will likely challenge that). I wonder what it means for the Eurostar / SkyTeam partnership. Presumably Virgin Trains will want in too.
