Bit off topic from Lake Biwa, but I am at Mercure Wakayama Kushimoto Resort & Spa. The time is 7.30pm, and here in the lounge it's very calm, as can be seen.

Also, it shall be said that the average age from my stay at these remote Hotels are quite high.

Edit. Btw, G.M Wakayama is IMO a much better hotel than Mercure, anyway if you get the newly renovated rooms at the G.M. Im not sure all rooms there are renovated.
