BA have created a situation where they’ve commercially chosen to operate a schedule their fleet can’t realistically sustain. Whilst things I believe have improved from a couple of years ago, especially the A380, BA control their fleet size and their timetable. It’s not can’t, it’s have chosen not to. BA are an organisation that knows how to sweat an asset, and this is a commercial decision that impacts aircraft, crew, cleaning, catering and pretty much every area of their operation.
