This seems like a pleasant resort. We were thinking about a 4 night stay for a family of 3 with a teenager during spirng break 2026. I can book using points for a room with a king bed and a sofabed. However I have discoverist status and was wondering if it still worth it given most people who have reviewed are globalist and obviously get a better overall experience. Please let me know your thoughts.
It has been awhile for us, but I believe they closed the Hyatt club. (So that benefit, normally provided to Globs, is no longer part of the math). You would not be in line for the Globalist comp view upgrades and free parking also. It is a pool resort with pool choices, a lazy river float, and a boat ride-out-to beach on a barrier island (beach quality varies depending on recent storm scour--or not). We quite liked it and went many times before our interests changed a bit. I should probably suggest a return.
(So you won't be surprised and since you mention a teenager) there is a clothing-optional beach out on the island not that far away from where the hotel boat lets you out.
