I flew LAX-HND-TSA on JL last year. I checked the airfare a few weeks ago and it was still cheaper than LAX-TPE non-stop on BR, CI, or JX.
I'm hard pressed to think for any full service carriers (even PR!) that don't command a nonstop premium.
