I think it was from the previous new CSR benefits thread in here. Someone said they read the terms and the maximum credit per day was $250. It could be old terms or they read it incorrectly. I don't even know where to find the terms and contracts to read it.
$500 Credit for stays with The Edit for Chase Sapphire Reserve and J.P. Morgan Reserve Personal Cards: A statement credit will be automatically applied to your account for qualifying purchases with The Edit by Chase Travel up to a maximum accumulation of $250 in statement credits from January 1 through June 30 and up to $250 from July 1 through December 31, for a total maximum accumulation of $500 in statement credits each calendar year. Calendar year means January 1 through December 31 of that same year. Qualifying purchases are when you or an authorized user of the account use the card for pre-paid “Pay Now” stays of 2 nights or more. Call the number on the back of your card to find out eligibility for your next $500 Credit for stays with The Edit. The $500 Credit for stays with The Edit must be available at the time qualifying purchases are made to be applied to your account. Please allow 6 to 8 weeks for statement credit(s) to appear on your monthly credit card billing statement. We may reverse statement credits if an eligible purchase is returned, canceled, or modified or if you close your account within 90 days of receiving a statement credit. Any purchases that qualify for the $500 Credit for stays with The Edit will not earn points.
idk the post you are referring, but you may have understood it wrongly. the edit credits is only offered once in the 1st half of the year, and once in the 2nd half of the year, so you have to make 1 reservation in each have of the year. but this only restricts when you make the reservation, not the date of the stay. since you can book far into the future, you can make 2 reservations at 2 different point in time for 2 rooms on the same date. you can also make back to back bookings if you desire
