I've had a credit for well over a year, and it has never shown up that way before on the booking screen.
Noticed this as well. They automatically "apply" the credit and for a minute, seems the fares are low (or VERY low, depending on how much the credit is for).
Not a change I like.
There is a "button" at the top of the results, where the sort and filters are located, which says "$xxx credit applied". You can X out that box and it reverts to showing the actual fares.
