I'm due to fly back from Las Vegas in April (BA270) and I'm sure that I'd picked the back row when I booked it (row 41), but when I go into it now it looks like the back row is now 44. My assumption is that it's been changed from a 787-800 to a 787-900 (which is promising since I've discovered tonight that the 800s don't have WiFi!). The BA website seems to confirm this if I search for this flight, as does SeatGuru.
What I don't understand is that the 900s all appear to have First seats (regardless of the Club Suites situation), but First isn't sold on the Vegas flights. If this ends up being a refurbished 787 with Club Suites, do they essentially 'overbook' Business by 8 seats and then just use the First seats as Business since they're fairly similar to the Club Suites?
This thread explains it well -
