First visit to the MLL at SFO, Oct 28, 3:30 - 5:30 pm.
I was excited to visit the MLL at SFO yesterday, a few observations;
- beautiful lounge, modern with lots of seating both tables and chairs with some work stations and private rooms. I was surprised how much space there was, and it seemed very quite compared to other MLL lounges, I'd say 25% full.
- outdoor terrace had great views of the tarmac, although some shade would have been appreciated. Even in October, it was too hot for me to sit in the direct sun. Not sure what they do in the summer.
- food: I was surprised that the selection was quite limited. Very little hot selection (pork tenderloin, sweet potatoes and Brussel sprouts) and no cold selection such as salty snacks, dips, etc other than a few salad items, only one soup option.
- drinks: my Negroni was fantastic, however the wife's Caesar was odd, tasted too much like bbq sauce with tomato juice.
One funny story, on both TVs, they did NOT have the World Series showing (CNN and something else) and I overheard someone asking to change the channel and the workers said it was not possible.
