For the record, I returned from taking my German shepherd (Latke) to City Park at around 11am this morning and made breakfast (scrambled eggs the right way — a soft scramble — and sourdough toast from the loaf my daughter bought from the Crescent City farmers’ market). It was delicious. I may be in the minority, at least on this board, but I’m sticking with my firm belief that 11am (let alone 10:30am) is breakfast time, not lunch time. This is why Americans always get made fun of for having dinner at 6pm (or earlier)!
(I had a conference call on WhatsApp last week with a Mexican, who made fun of the fact that the entire world other than Americans uses WhatsApp. He said it’s like our resistance to using the metric system. Perhaps our meal times are in the same vein!)
