Sorry to dig up an old thread but my question seems to have its best home here.

If I have BA to BA connecting flights with less than 24 hour connection, can I still check my bags through if the first flight departs more than 24 hours after flight 2 departs LHR?

When I check my app the check-in for flight 2 does not open until after flight 1 departs, so I do not know how they will be able to check bags through.
