Based on what you have said so far though which is
AmexGBT/Egencia booking as a UK account
CW on BAxxx LHR-SIN return
And assuming this is a standalone ticket and is not part of a bigger trip or part of a package
There are three possible ways of earning TPs. 1) Fare based on what you actually paid, 2) Distance based, 3) fare based on the equivalent fare. For bookings up to 30/6/25 they said they would use the higher method of earning but that has stopped now which may explain why you are seeing a difference in this booking compared to earlier ones
So out of those three
1) you've ruled out as the TPs are nowhere near the fare
2) distance based would be 3382 for the return in I/R
So that just leaves the equivalent fare option, though quite why AmexGBT would charge over £4000 when the equivalent fare is less than £2000 is a complete mystery
Or maybe just MMB is completely wrong (it is just an estimate after all), are you sure it is showing you the expected TPs for the whole trip and not showing them separately for the outbound and return?
There have been a number of reports of AmexGBT/Egencia NET fares earning distance based TPs when the member was expecting fare based, and also the other way around (i.e. earning fare based when expecting distance based) and also reports of different behaviour for different types of NET fares (i.e Leisure NET v Business NET.
The official line from BA for bookings post 30/6/25 is that for a UK based TMC where the fare is undisclosed you should earn on the equivalent fare basis. Though without the calculation line you can't even be sure it is an undisclosed fare.
Depending how big your company is you might have a dedicated account manager or support person from AmexGBT. Might be worth asking them to explain the calculation
I am also having this issue for a number of bookings made through Egencia. Actually this is a recent issue for me, prior to around July, Egencia bookings credited correctly to my BAC account.
Is anyone aware if BA know this is an issue? I raised a complaint and was told via email response that they “don’t have access to booking information and therefore cannot support me” and to “contact BAC”. So in reality they are just passing me between departments. You would think given the sheer volume of AmexGBT/Egencia bookings BA would want this sorted out.
Also has anyone successfully managed to have a correct or nearly correct amount of nTPs credited? How are you supposed to check what the equivalent fare is?
