I've had the same experience, sometimes the second one is free, sometimes they charge for it. I've also had them give me the Gin free and charge for the tonic. It's quite inconsistent, really.

The website says - https://www.aerlingus.com/about-us/a...news/aerspace/ - *The complimentary refreshment is one drink (hot/cold/alcoholic) and one item of food (snack or sandwich/wrap), subject to availability on board."

Now that SAS have changed their SAS Plus to actual business class, let's hope the change in market dynamics has EI do something similar with AerSpace.
