Just got notification that my SAN-ATL flight got hit with a schedule change in April 2026. Upon doing some research, that route seems to be discontinuing this spring. Reduced frequency in February, and then gone by the end of March. March 17th is the last flight per AeroRoutes. That is a bummer, but DL has this route pretty locked up. I am curious how the street fight with UA on SAN-IAD is going. UA brought in a 777 to IAD to compete and I am thinking they still have the upper hand.

I am seeing the SAN-PHX flights are now downsized to E175s in the spring too. Such a strange strategy to go head to head with AA on SAN-PHX/ORD and now DFW.
