JAL Same Day Departure Upgrade (T-3 hours)

I have the following questions:

If I'm successful in the upgrade from J to F, do I also qualify for all of the F perks? In particular:
1. HND Diamond Premier Lounge
2. Diamond Premier security checkpoint
At the top of the page linked above, there's a notice that says departure date upgrade will only be available for JMB members starting December 2025 onwards. My flight date is March 2026 so new rules apply. I am a JMB member, but my brother on the same booking/itinerary/PNR does not have JMB. As the primary passenger on the PNR will I be able to request an upgrade for the both of us? Or will it only go thru for me as only I'm a JMB member?

I have basic JMB membership, with no status with JMB or Oneworld.
