We have a flight from SDF to FCO via DFW on 12/31 on AA premium economy, seats were 47K—There are four of us, including two college students (they don't go back until MLK weekend)
We've flown a bunch recently; my spouse flies all the time. We have been hit with lots of delays and even a cancellation out of nowhere last Friday out of DFW.
I am wondering if we should try to fly on 12/30. The Philadelphia route is the exact cost as our current flight.
I'm feeling skittish about DFW and flying on a holiday - but spouse is grumbling about tacking on another day.
What would you all do?
