As the WiFi was broken on my last TATL (772), i tried watching a film. The audio was so companded (volume reduced when it's loud, increased in the quiet bits), it was really quiet loud (sounded like white noise) when the film was silent. I'm sure it was on the film not the sound system as pausing the film stopped the background noise. It almost made the film unwatchable. I hardly ever use the IFE. Is it often like this? (FWIW the film was "The Tutor" if that makes any difference).
