On OMAAT (with no links to sources), it sounds like DL is going to look to expand to SIN and MNL, as well as add more connectivity to ICN (including eventually starting JFK/LAX-ICN). I can see UA directly competing on LAX-SIN at some point, and they will beat DL to the punch by starting EWR-ICN next September. However, I do wonder if UA is going to bother with LAX-ICN despite Asiana leaving Star Alliance, and if they would ever consider LAX-MNL (I have to think DL is going to fly to SIN and MNL at LAX over SEA). Smisek-era strategy would have been content simply staying holed up the coast at SFO, but with the amount of widebodies UA has, perhaps there is room to further compete.
