You are absolutely right, but the Port Authority and major news outlets in NYC have been reporting that T7 would shut down for months now. One would have to assume that the Board Room would close with it, unless they wanted to move it to a trailer or something. But I suppose that some people may have thought that they would open one in T8. I never thought it would make sense to have one two three four (!) AA lounges plus a Board Room in a single terminal. Even four lounges is a bit much, but I get it with AA and BA going in on three of them together.
