Has anyone confirmed either by calling in or experience that the 25 k companion cert discount that is fully used will be returned if the flight is applied for is cancelled (prior to cert expiration date). It implied but not explicit in the FAQ and cancellation rules.

it also says that if it’s partially used, the companion award discount is forfeited..
