Remember, that's $300 PQP so about $400 in airfare. Super easy in fall/winter season to northern Europe when it's rainy & cold. And, in fact, the return on my ticket could be to anywhere in the US (including Alaska) for the same fare! I've never seen that before. So I'm outbound from the east coast and returning to the Gulf coast this trip. But I could have returned to LAX/SFO/ANC for the same fare. HNL was an exception.
