Yes, mechanical with 24 hour delay. I feel very sad for those people on that flight. That is a long delay.
I am sure a fair number will be rerouted on ANA's late night flights from SFO or LAX, or on late evening AA from LAX.
I don't know if I feel particularly sad for them, for the far majority, it is a minor annoyance.
