I did a dummy booking for cash tickets A class and looked at the fare breakdown to find the total of carrier surcharges and actual taxes - for my GUf’d and 241’d booking I was expecting to pay the Avios for one Business redemption ticket and the fees/taxes for 2 A class tickets. The total fees/taxes I was actually charged were about £200pp less than I thought they were going to be, so not sure if this was my misunderstanding/miscalculation or BAs. Either way, I was ok with the total.
