SAN will have 44 destinations and 90+ peak day flights. Capacity is not tickets sold but it's not really plausible that SFO will stay "double" SAN's size.

passenger traffic doubling anytime soon because a lot more planes and seats are available. Will SFO drop now? Of course, you can't have passenger traffic w/o airplanes.
One city has over 5 million passengers, the other has nearly 3 million. They've decided to cut way back on the 5 million one and increase the 3 million one. Seems the plan.
