Granted its international and you do need a passport, but with CrossBorder Xpress it's a viable option if you have to get to San Diego for cheap, and I'd rather deal with crossing the border than the 5/405/15 with SNA/ONT, especially if you live in South Bay/Chula Vista. I haven't done it yet, but I'm happy that UA added CLD, and at that from somewhere other than LAX (since that would involve a double connection)
