Was on a flight last week that was oversold (actually came in with a broken seat), which seemed to cause problems with BPs on the app. Mine disappeared for a bit, and someone else in the boarding line had theirs disappear as well.
Not sure how widespread it was. Mine came back intermittently but was certainly happy I had paper BP as backup / record of my assignment.
