I have both a CSR and and Amex Platinum and I am totally disappointed with the CSR credit. In NYC of all places there are maybe 20 restaurants total? And you have to use a physical card and not tap to pay? Meanwhile Amex lets you use their credit at every restaurant on the Resy platform which is the majority of restaurants that I go to. I used two quarters worth of he credit within a few weeks and had the credit process within a day or two each time. Barely have to think about where to go. There are plenty of restaurants on OpenTable in NYC as well (less so than Resy) but the "Sapphire Tables" is so limited. More reason I will be cancelling upon renewal. Just not worth it.
